My NBA Draft

This is my opinion of what each team should do based on team need and my biased favoritism of each player.

Detroit Pistons obviously take Cade Cunningham

2. Houston Rockets- JALEN SUGGS

Suggs.jpeg

Point guard that plays hard on both ends of the court. Can slide in next to Kevin Porter Jr. and be the floor general.

3. Cleveland Cavaliers- EVAN MOBLEY

Mobley.jpeg

Would be the number one pick in a lot of other drafts. I could see the Rockets taking him for the fact that he is the best player available and figuring out the lineup. He is a great talent and asset. Cleveland really needs talent and he would be a great add with RFA Jarrett Allen testing free agency.

4. Toronto Raptors- Jalen Green

Jalen G.jpg

Springy scorer with a high ceiling. Too much talent to pass up

5. Orlando Magic- Jonathan Kuminga

Kuminga.jpg

18 year old that spent that last year playing against NBA level talent averaging 15 points. One of my favorite prospects in the class and wish the wolves had a pick to take him.

6. Oklahoma City Thunder- Scotty Barnes

BArnes.jpeg

7 foot 3 inch wing span with a MOTOR. Wish he could have shown more offensively in his year at Florida State, but didn’t get that kind of usage. It may show his immaturity, but I think OKC would be dumb not to take a flier on Barnes.

7. Golden State Warriors- James Bouknight

Bouknight.jpeg

The Golden State Warriors are going to shop their picks like crazy to make a move for a proven player, but if they keep it I think they go with Bouknight. Scorer ready to play now. One of my favorite players in the draft not just cause I’m a Uconn fan and bet my friend he would be a top 10 pick back in December.

8. Oralndo Magic- Alperen Sengun

Sengun.jpg

I’m going to be honest I haven’t really looked into Sengun, but was impressed with the video I watched. He won the Turkish MVP as a 18 year old playing against men. I hear Orlando likes. Makes sense.

9. Sacramento Kings- Jalen Johnson

Johnson.jpg

Johnson really dis pointed in his short stint with Duke, but he still has the potential to be a versatile NBA player. Hopefully he can embrace the Kings a little more

10. Memphis Grizzlies- Josh Giddey

Giddey.jpg

Giddey has been moving up boards all year and looks like the Grizzlies could get a steal at 10. Might be Luca Don part 2, but I don’t know

11. Charlotte Hornets- Kai Jones

Kai.jpg

6'11'“ PF/C bringing Lamelo a more true big to throw lobs to. Adds size to a team that starts PJ Washington with Bismack off the bench.

12. San Antonio Spurs- Corey Kispert

kiss.jpg

Best pure shooter in the class. Could fit into a line-up right away and add spacing.

13. Indiana Pacers- Franz Wagner

Franz.jpg

14. Golden State Warrior- Moses Moody

Slipped a little bit, but could be a steal here. Dynamic player that could make an impact immediately. Don’t imagine GSW keeping the pick.

15. Washington Wizards- Cam Thomas

Cam.jpg

One of the best pure bucket getters in the class. With Bradley Beals furure in question I think yiu go with the best scorer. If he stays then you have a high ceiling scorer which doesn’t hurt.

16. OKC- Isaiah Jackson

17. NOP- Ziare Williams

18. OKC- Davion Mitchell

19. NYK- Chris Duarte

20. ATL- Jared Butler

21. NYK- Day’ron Sharpe

22. LAL- Trey Murphy

23. HOU- Isaiah Todd

24. HOU- Greg Brown

25. LAC- Jaden Springer

26. DEN- Miles Mcbride

27. BKN- Sharife Cooper

28. PHI- Josh Christopher

29. PHO- Charles Bassey

30. UTAH- Jeremiah Robinson-Earl
