Cole Anthony Wanted to Show People He is no Longer a Mere Boy

The new face of college basketball made his debut in glasses. Since when is it cool to admit that your vision isn’t 20/20. Growing up, back in my day, if you didn’t have perfect vision you might as well stuff yourself in a locker in between third and fourth period….

As I am writing this in the second half he has ditched the glasses. I was all over this being a facade to distinguish himself and look like an intellectual in his first game. I get it, your a freshman in college, and want to show people you’ve matured since high school. What says maturity more than rec specs. Nobody good has worn them since the Erik Dickerson and Horace Grant; Two very sophisticated and up standing men. But Cole, if you really wanted to show people that you’ve matured you should have just gone with the classic mustache. It is the sure fire sign of a man. That is why I have the biggest mustache ever at all times.
